| My father as I understand it was a decendant of the brother of the 9th Earl of Nithsdale. I would love more information. My Dad lived in North and South Carolina but mostly North. When he met and married my mother he was living in Gerton, NC in Henderson Cty. He was Samuel Percy Maxwell son of Samuel David Maxwell (mother was Ida). He was born October 27,1920 and died Jan. 22, 2005. He had 10 siblings. There were/are Arthur, Walter, William (Bill), Ethel, Elma, Hattiebell, Glenn, Myrtle, Clyde, and John Baxter (JB) |
