Does any one have a Maxwell & Weaver connection back to Scotland or possibly, within one or two generations in America? I have found a 1790 Census report from Pennsylvania showing John Weaver Maxwell and four dependants. This could be the John, father of Bazzel, father of John Maxwell b. 1813 Wayne Co. KY This fits with some of the directions that the DNA connections show. And it shows a pattern in my family line, my Grandfather Wallace Weaver Maxwell > David Harvey Maxwell > John W. (Weaver) Maxwell > Bezzel Maxwell > this John Weaver Maxwell. A new found cousen in California has sent me documentation clearly showing John Maxwell b. 1813, Wayne Co. KY with a middle initial of W and not P as was thought.
