Hi I am wonderring if anyone out there can help. My wife is a descendent of William Maxwell b.C1806 Scotland. Although we do not have the place of birth we know from one of his marriages that his father was Alexander Maxwell occupation Soldier. We had found a William b.C1806 in Kirkmabreck, Scotland but we cannot be sure this is the same person. Any help, however small, would be truely appreciated. Kindest Regards Brian
