I have just started the research on the Maxwell family.  My brother was William James Maxwell, my grandfather and great grandfather as well.  However, I believe they came from Scotland in the early 1800's.  It is also possible that they moved to Scotland from Ireland during the great potato famine.  I understand they were titled immigrants who settled in Shawville, Quebec and later moved to Northern Ontario (Nipissing Twp)  The name Forman has not come forth, as yet, in my research.
