I am having a very hard time finding information on my Maxwell family line. The main information I have is from the birth certificate & marriage certificates of my g-grandmother. I am very confused by the various districts and counties so if someone could help me on that also it would be greatly appreciated. Registration District - West Derby - 1897, Birth in the Sub-district of Walton in the Counties of Bootle, Lancaster and Liverpool. When/where born - 5 Oct 1897, 445 Hawthorne Rd, Bootle Name - Eveline Amy Sex - Female Name, surname and maiden surname of mother - Elizabeth Maxwell formerly Connor Occupation of father - Stevedore Foreman Signature, description and residence of informant - John Maxwell, Father, 445 Hawthorne Rd. Bootle (the rest is about when registered and the registrar) I have no information about John Maxwell. I only know he was married to Elizabeth and had 3 -4 children and later became a master mariner.
