Hi Maureen, I'm in the process of searching for him in Canada/US post 1920. My Great Aunt and Grandfather (Margaret and Harold Maxwell) always told us he had died. But it looks like he left the UK (and them and another Brother killed in a RAF flying accident aged 22) My feeling is he just never came back and deserted them as he was never mentioned. I'm also having difficulty finding my Grandfathers birth registered anywhere. Out of interest are you also related to him? Regards Tony
