I am looking for more information on when King Edward the 1st invaded Caerlaverock with thousands of his men, to find out there were only 60 men protecting the castle. I just want more detailed stories than what the internet sites I have been finding are giving me. Also if anyone knows any old Maxwell family folklore that would be great. Thanks everyone.
