Not exactly the individual(or the location) named above, but the name Moreton is mentioned. Following the Norman invasion of England in 1066 the lands where devided amongst the victor's supporters ergo the Maxwells got Caerlaverock. The Maxwells had close links with the Moretons of Little Moreton Hall, Cheshire, England.
