Hi Katie, I only started to look for these Maxwells today but I can tell you that Mary Anderson's father had a plantation near Pendleton, SC (12 miles from me) and Mary would have almost certainly have been born and married in SC. Gen Anderson was 1st cousin to my ancester, Margaret Anderson.
