Hello!  Elizabeth Maxwell was my 5th Great-Grandmother and I have been trying to find her parents as my mother linked her to David Maxwell from Donegal Ireland and then to the Scottish Clan Maxwell.  I have documentation from the Southern Family register that states that his children were not the Maxwell sisters and their brother.  My mother questions the book but that is all I have to go on.  Until I saw your post that says their parents are John and Margaret. That gave me a lot to work with and thank you! In the book it tells the story of Maxwells that were from Pennsylvania who later moved to Tennessee.  I am looking for links from them to the Maxwells that are my relatives from PA that moved to Monroe, WV.  It feels like there must be some link but I am searching.  Have you found anything else?  I keep providing any research of Maxwells to help any of us to link the pieces but keep looking for my direct connection.  My mother is some help because she remembers family stories and I just trying to piece the pieces.  I can send you the pages that I have if you like.  I just think that those Maxwells from PA which have a really interesting history must be linked to mine in WVA - which was VA at the time.  Thanks for your time reading this.  Jenny
