Does anyone have any information on either of these men? Henry was born between 1771-1780 and William was born between 1781-1790. Neither of these men appear on the 1840 census for Hardeman County, TN. It is worth mentioning that Hardeman county was not formed until after 1820, so they would not have been on any census for that county prior to 1830. Searching for my John Maxwell, born 1779, NC, that appeared on the McNairy County, TN census (neighboring county) in 1830. It has been said that he had a brother, William, born 1782, which could be the William above. Any info is greatly appreciated!
