Hello friends! I am trying to trace my genealogy through Ancestry.com, and I seem to have gotten stuck. I’ve gotten as far back as Eustace H Maxwell( b 1655 - d 1693) and Mary Campbell, with Eustace being shown as the son of John Thomas Maxwell(b1645 - d1681) and Jean Cunningham. What I’m mostly confused about is that the website is suggesting that Robert Maxwell 4th Earl of Nithsdale and Elizabeth Sanders are the parents of John T Maxwell, but I cannot find any record of him or Elizabeth Sanders I’m relation to Robert. Anyone have anything I can use to make a connection somehow?
