My mothers family emigrated to Canada and then the US in the early 1920's from Glasgow. She does not have much information as she was 5 when they left Scotland. Her fathers name was George Maxwell and he had one brother John and two sisters, Margaret and Catherine. George married Ellen (Nellie) McCann. (my grandmother) The McCann family lived at 40 Roxboro St in Greenoch. I cant yet locate where the Maxwell family lived.  Catherine stayed in Scotland and the rest of the siblings emigrated to the US.  I am trying to locate the family tree there in Scotland as well as any US Maxwells who may be kin...help welcome !
