hello, have you received any responses?  I am Hyram's daughter, Kim, and do not have all of the research my father did concerning Sidney. I am thinking that Sidney came from Scotland, however we can check through what Dad had done and see.  It will take a while, and my brother Lit might have better access to this.  Best wishes in your search - Larkin was a familiar name.  If it's OK to ask, who was your father and mother?  Kim
