Oliver Maxwell was transported to Australia in 1837 for having received stolen goods. He was born in Belfast in 1819 but I do not have any further information on him prior to this. He married a fellow convict-Annie Nicholls-and became a successful business man in Australia. He is my husband's gggrandfather and would love to know Irish genealogy
