Have you heard anything about your John Maxwell who married Isobel McGrew? This is the beginning of my Maxwell family also. Somewhere I found that John's parents were Alexander Maxwell and Rachel Galbraith. Also that John was born April 27, 1724 in Govan, Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland.
