Hoping to find a connection to James Maxwell who m Sarah Moore in Blount Co., TN in 1802. These Maxwells went to Lincoln Co., TN until 1835, then they went to Randolph Co., MO (burned courthouse, few records) where James & Sarah Maxwell died.  Their son John Maxwell married Mary Ann Fox.  They had a grist mill in Monroe County, MO.  John Maxwell died of colera in 1860.  Daughter Hortense Jennie Maxwell married Joseph Beatty and settled in Travis County, TX.
