WOW! Could be really interesting if we're realted. I live in Marietta, GA. My gr.,gr., gr. grandmother was the grandaughter of a James Maxwell. She married a Maj. James Wood in Coweta, County, I'm thinking around 1800. Many of my "folks" are from Heard and Coweta Counties. My James Maxwell is the son of (James) Audley Mawell who represented Savannah at the first General Assembly. I'm trying to gain information to put together a complete genealogy. I'm just getting started. |
