Hi Peter, My grandfather William Maxwell was born in Ireland.  He came to South Africa about 1901.  He fought here in the 1914-1918 war and stayed on.  We do not have a fixed date of birth for him as all our documents here in sa give different Years.  On his army papers he left a next of kin as being MOLLY HART his sister who lived at 57 Foyle Road, Londonederry.  He also mentioned a brother that was killed in Ireland by a Chainsaw in either a work or farming related accident.  Do you  have any ties that will tie up with this?
