Wiliam's son was John who, in turn, had a son, Samuel Pinckney William Maxwell. John and his wife died young and Samuel may have been raised by his grandparents, william and Elizabeth Parke Maxwell. Then Samuel had a son, James Jarvis Maxwell- my great-grandfather. He married Elizabeth Robinson and lived in DeKalb Co., Tn. He was in the Civil war on the side of the North. Hezekiah Maxwell was 90 in 1940 and was interviewed by my mother's cousin, Annelle Benson Underwood, whose mother was Lodissa Maxwell. a dtr of James Jarvis M.
