JOhn Maxwell (1850-1920) married Margaret Carswell (1850-about 1920) They married 1871 at Gartsherrie Lanarkshire, Scotland arrived in PA in 1872 moved to Marcy Iowa by 1876 and to Mindenmines Missouri by 1905. 9 children, Anna, Elizabeth, Margaret, James, William, Agnes, John, Joseph and Mamye. James Maxwell married Sarah about 1898 and had Mary, Raymond, Freddie, Foster, Bessie, Albert, Phelma,Mildred and Erl.
