Hello ... I am the Grandson of John Cleveland Maxwell who was the son of John Maxwell and Margaret Carswell. My Mother, who is now 100 years old frequently talks about going to live with the Maxwell's in Minden Mines, MO. According to her she lived with them while attending High School there. Evidently there was no High School in Crosby, Wyoming where she was living at the time. Her Father, John C. Maxwell and Mother Bella (Donaldson) Maxwell sent her there. I'm assuming this was around 1925 due to the fact that my Mother was born in 1910 and she was going there to attend High School. I don't have a date of death for Margaret Carswell but the record here says 1920 which I believe is incorrect if this is the same person that my Mother refers to. I know that Joseph Maxwell (my great Uncle) was a WW1 veteran and our family regularly visited Earl Maxwell (James' Son) when he lived in Long Beach, CA. I would love to know more about these people if possible. I was a member of Ancestry.com but my subscription ran out sometime ago. It's very expensive in my opinion but I guess I will need to get on there again unless there is an alternative. Look forward to hearing from you ... Jack
